BEST OF 2024 - Daisy's Picks

This year has been somewhat dismal, and it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by everything going on around us. However, it’s important to stay focused despite that.

So many incredible things have come out this year, so many new bands have started up. It’s been an honor to go to and play so many amazing shows, and to listen to so many talented people creating art they are proud of. As time passes so quickly, I like to step back and reflect with the utmost gratitude for a scene that has given me so much, as it continues to flourish and evolve. Start a band, make music you want to hear—if it exists and is palpable, that’s all that matters. Subcultures survive through transmission.

Companies and CEOs don't care about you or your future, you are poor so your boss can be rich, the enemy is capitalism, colonialism and imperialism.
