Alienator - "Meatlocker" LP

The debut album from Portland, Oregon’s Alienator comes flying out of the stables with a vicious ferocity – like Poison Idea’s Kings of Punk fired-up on amphetamines and Burning Spirits energy while riffing hard on some Power Trip technique. I’m reminded of Black Breath too. Alienator’s vocalist has his own take on the Jerry A style of rapid-snarl-meets-mighty-roar which works a treat as too does the tough-as-nails delivery of the whole band. Dirty, mean and wild. This is a modern hardcore keeper, and a future classic of the mid-2020s. “Plain and simple, if you hear this record and it does not make your top 10 list for 2025, chances are you just don’t like Hardcore, period.” – Black Water Records
