Constrictor - "S/T" cassette

"Constrictor is evoking late 70s/early 80s Los Angeles. I hear Adolescents, X and Circle Jerks. The mood of these songs remind me of the scene in Suburbia where Flea pours the slushy in the pickled egg jar or perhaps when the radio-active car in Repo Man begins to fly.

Although the sound of this release is strictly early hardcore punk, there's a cinematic quality to the riffs. Punctuated by simple but memorable and striking guitar leads with ominous sound effects sprinkled throughout."
