Cut from the same cloth as contemporaries like Raein and Loma Prieta, the band carves their own unique blend of frantic, unhinged and technical screamo, teetering between quiet guitar interludes and dizzying spells of jazz-inspired percussion. Exploring themes of grief and loss, “Solitude” is a tense and deeply emotional record from its beginning to end.
