Misfits - "Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood" LP

Iconic ghoul-punks Misfits’ final offering of their Eighties period was a weird one, with the 15-minute album arriving as an unrelenting speedball of hardcore rhythms and demonomaniacal barking from New Jersey hell-hound Glenn Danzig. It’s not Misfits’ hookiest statement, but the palpable tension and uglified dissonance of “Earth A.D.” and “Devilock” make this a wickedly blood-dripping, teeth-baring finale from the first era of Lodi’s finest punk fiends.
