Pegboy - "Strong Reaction" LP (yellow vinyl)

John Haggerty walked away from Naked Raygun and built something sharper to scratch the same itch: Pegboy, with his brother Joe on drums, Steve Saylors on bass, and Larry Damore singing. Strong Reaction, their 1991 debut on Touch and Go's Quarterstick imprint, plays fast and melodic enough that Trouser Press praised its ferocious attack, and it's aged well enough that The A.V. Club later singled it out as holding up better than most of its early-90s hardcore peers. This pressing just adds yellow vinyl to an already strong case.
