This remarkable release captures The Pixies at their finest, immediately before Christmas 1991, playing a show -broadcast by public radio network KCRW FM- at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Two years after recording Hollywood Holidays, they would disband but ultimately reunite in 2004. The group is credited with having an influence on the alternative rock boom of the 1990s.
